The cottage was extensively renovated in the mid-1990s, but original features like the slate flooring were retained where possible.

There is a single large bedroom on the first floor with a double bed and a futon-style single bed. The rest of the accommodation is open-plan, with a living room on the ground floor, and the kitchen and bathroom/toilet to the rear.

There is a wood burning stove in the living room, as well as electric heating, and the cottage is fully double glazed. The cottage has a small garden, bounded by a stream and there is off-road parking.

Guests usually provide their own duvet covers, sheets and towels. Pets are welcome, by agreement, provided that they are kept under control.
